cant find 1.w with motorised set up

hi . im havn a bit of trouble finding 1.w on my dm800hd with motorised dish, ive manually found 13.e, 19.e and 28.2 ok but im not finding any more . this is my 1st db and motor so im really new to this scene ( couple of months ) but i would be glad if someone could give me a few tips and advice- cheers

Can you not set up on usals?

If the pole is not 100% plumb all round it will not track the arc correctly.

hook your box up to the router and download the latesed "motor" channel settings directly to the box from the downloads section on your image via the red or blue button. which image you using?

nabilo 12, i will go in and download the latest settings as u said and see if its any better. should i receive most sats from where i am ( belfast ) with a clear line of site if all is set up prorerly ?

yes i tried usals but i couldnt find anything, possible not set up right by me.

Not set up correct, no channel list/motor settings will correct that. Use dishpointer. com to set dish up.
Set up on 1 west or 5e .
1 west bbc world is good.
Loosen dish
send to 1 west
manually tune dish to bbcworld
tighten up
all others should be ok then.

Remember pole must be plumb.

Usals is best.

it could e possible you are trying to scan or find a dead transponder ...

If I remember correctly some things can be abit off in Belfast... if its Thor1W your trying for then try going to 0.8W instead

Thanks a lot guys. i will realign my dish like yous guys said and give it a go with usals, at least i know my system is working and i just need to tweak my dish. cheers to all ! SORTED ! The reference satellite for Belfast is 5 west and now I have most satellites from 39 east to 30 west ! Happy days !
