    Is it possible

    Looking to buy a new reciever , is it possible to have 2 different reciever hooked up to one dish? Got a technomate 5400 wouldn't mind gettin the protek 9600. Cheers

    Yes, but if on same sat one needs to be in standby unless using same tp through loopthrough or using twin lnb.

                at the back of your stb there should be 2 f-connector male sockets. 1 is input and 1 is output. so you could have your dish on the input then have a coax from the output going to a input on a second receiver but this way is limited as your second receiver doesnt have independent control. best way is have a twin lnb and stb one to control the dish and stb two can watch at the same time but only on the same satellite. id just have 2 systems, 1 motorised main system and a secondary fixed dish maybe 2 or 3 lnb,s for the main birds. regards mdt
