    Sky Install Help

    Hi

I am getting sky installed on Wednesday. I was looking at 1m motorised dish, but the sky deal just makes sense for 12 months.

I would like help on locating where I should allow Sky engineer to mount dish. The reason is that after 12 months I may want to try to and set up something using this

Basically would I want the wavefield to be pointing in the same direction as the sky dish or would it be more to the left or right (if I'm at 6 O'clock and the Sky dish is at 12 O'clock).

I hope I've explained myself properly.

Also am I correct in thinking that the fisxing used by sky for the minidish will NOT be suitable for this:

hi m8, you shouldnt have any trouble if you are planning 2 fixed dishes, the sky dish and the multi-lnb gregorian dish. if you have a basically south facing wall you will be ok, say you have a wall 2 meters across just ask the engineer to put the dish to the left or right giving room for the second but dont worryabout it its 95% that you will be ok. regards mdt
