LOL, I just noticed it, I think that goes to show it's all about money and not the box itself otherwise they would try and fix the problem and let people post about it.
See what happens with an exchange box. Otherwise Trading Standards may have to get involved.

Its still very much a new box guys so there will inevitably be issues with it.
Dont agree with the censorship but there are other sites that will give you unbiased opinion. I see other users being very happy with this box so hang on in hopefully a patch will be released. It cant be in anyones interest to have faulty software when its an HD box.Comment

They are selling a product to the public and should do everything to sort it out.
Don't get me wrong, I like the box, picture and ease or use is excellent, but then I'm used to a Dreambox, I'm just annoyed that they won't talk about it because it may effect sales. If it don't come from us, it will come from somebody else who has the same problem and then the whole process starts again LOL.System:

It's well known that Alsat don't like criticism. Personally I have not had any major problems with the box, or the Starview HD Combo+ which is effectively the same box.
Watched a couple of movies in HD all the way through, very few glitches as well, even works better on a couple of channels than my DM800

Here's an update, went and picked up an exchange box today (Sat) and I'm pleased to say that I have had no problems with it so far, watched a couple of HD Movies all the way through and not even 1 reboot, so if you have this problem then take or send the box back for a replacment, the guy at the shop was great, he just swapped it with no problems.

Yeah I would, they'll exchange it straight away for you I'm sure, the only thing I've not got atm is the Gift, they didn't have any keys available but got to ring them tomorrow about that.
Mines now got a revision number stamped on the packaging which I'm sure the old one didn't have.

HeHe, they shouldn't ban you mate but if they do I'll make a post there about it, thing is if they actually answered the question in the first place then it wouldn't have got posted at the Spider one.
Thanks for the contributions to both threads. It really needs more people to stick up for themselves if they have problems with things they have brought. Consumer Rights gives the purchaser a lot of options and it's your right to make a complaint about a faulty product, and demand either a Repair, Exchange, Refund or even compensation of these matters.System:

I am here like all ways when is problem ,i never escape from the problems .( just to let you know but this is not my house to know all ways what's going On!)

is very simple this issu is not Spiderbox Issu.
this issu is ;
Spiderbox when come from manufacture they come with Blank s/w ..
The blank s/w is old bootloader.
Spiderbox has upgade the bootloader,that mean if some one put the s/w patch with laters boot loader will live some sort of Bug gap...We have recomdate people has this issu ( they only 7 cases in 3000 pz ) to follow this instruction...
Start with old pacthes and aftre slow one by one every months put new patches...untill to the lates one...for exaple ..put patch from Dec-jan-Feb and the last.need 5 min to do that very simple...if no is another s/w by 232rs can fix this issu very simple.
Even if this issu do not fix is very simple your supplier can change for the new one ,if your suplier do not do i garanty A l s at will do..
people they like try to use 1-2 people issus to generelise like big problem of spiderbox are only competitors or people they have hard filling against A l s a t forum ...they have show all way that in eny thread here or some where else...
But we have to respect even thouse pwople like 3000 they are owners of spiderbox happy and respect even the sponsor of this forum selling this product .
