          hello to all

i have had motorised sat for over 8 years now. my setup is

1.2mtr channel master dish with actuator (motorised)
sky mini dish with quad LNB
          dm8000hd receiver
          dm7025ss receiver

all connected with dual tuners and enjoying watching my sports with cs.

ordered the vu+ duo just waiting for delivery.

start a new thread and give as much information as possible. eg, dish size, motorised or fixed, receiver ,your location, which sat you are trying to receive then we can try to help you m8.

Well I've had a few over the years starting with a D2Mac Decoder (Analogue), Nokia (Digital, Still got that one in the loft), Humax 5400z (Digital, Still got it), Humax 5300. Got a few more somewhere can't remember what they are though.

                Now I have a Dreambox 7000s, SpiderBox 9000HD and a Sly+ HD box.
                System:
                DM7000s | 120gb HDD | Gemini 4.7 | 1m - Multi |
                SpiderBox 9000 HD | SKY+ HD

                System Cable:
                None

                System Broadband:
                Virgin Media 50mb

I got a TM1000d (very good tuner), Tm9101s (My favourite one), DM500s original, Manhattan Plaza ST 100 and DM800 clone (nothing but unreliable signals).

My dish is a crappy beaten up 90cm Fortec Star on a Stab motor.

The funny thing is I have so many channels but I dont even watch them, its all about the game. I just end up watching my subbed box .

Some cable folk give me . They dont really understand the sat world. Some of the questions I get asked by friends that had 'cable' would make some sat enthusiasts fall to the floor laughing.

could you hook one of these boxes up to a sky dish and pick up channels?

Genuiely have no clue about the Sat scene

could you hook one of which boxs up to a sky dish and get some channels?, any cheap fta satellite receiver when used with a sky "mini-dish" will get you about 300 free channels with about 100 of them being ok. the other 200 are just a waste of bandwidth!
