DM800 clone and a 1m motorised dish, T&K brackets and a 1m pole, should be looking at ?350ish, or go for the humble but still a great box the DM500 then you are looking at around ?200. or have a look in the technomate section for a box.

Where did you buy the dm800 for that price wannelly ?

I would only buy a 1mt dish if it was utterly necessary, I have a 90cm dish on a pole, and I can pick up all that is required or available, but would agree with the guys above a dm800 is superb another option would be Azbox which has the benefit of wireless lan .

do you have to pay any yearly subscriptions, is there a list of channels , and can you have more than 1 box in a household?

Defo has to be a motorised dish, and a linux box.

From experience, I would go for a pure Linux box like the Dreambox, AZ Box rather than the limited type such as the spiderbox.
