Warning To all who buy a linux receiver,it's lightswitch tv,thay can turn you off any time.Anyone new who comes into satellite now is mad & will get ripped off or channels turned off.Going to be starting a new web board soon telling all the pro's & cons of satellite.Guys Darkman stands for turing you tv off,don't forget this.

Just bought a new spiderbox 5000 sd, but I'm confused with the so called gift wich I didn't find any gift key anywhere. I'm on the bird 16.0 E.
Digitalb & tring tv are open but the status said not registered and I don't see any expired date.

I have installed the latest patch wich is (Darkman Patch-SD5000-2.25.0-SPI)

* ip setup = auto

* Net application
Type = NuevoXstream
Input type = Domain
Server = default
Then I go to Authorization!!!
Now,if i press register it said that the key is registered.)

Any idea what i'm missing here.

nuevoxstream will not work on new boxes, if the digitalb/tring packages are open on 16E service+is connected and all other service+ channels should also work,have you tried 13E or 19E there should be lots open on them.

As DB says new boxes the gift is only available in service + - make sure that is activated. In addition you get regular softcam updates for various other channels.

There will be channels don from time to time but have to say that for football this is a very good box.

Ok, when i go to service+ authorization what id & password do I enter or shall i just ignore the all thing?
I have been to hotbird there are few nova channels open but not sure how many.

if service+ is working ok thats it,unless you want the extras this box can do and I cant help with those,on 13E you will find quite a few channels open apart from the nova cinema ones including a lot of xxx if thats your thing.check out 30W and 19E as well and with softcam 39E

So,I guess this is it.
I'm afraid my sat dish only covers from Sirius 5e to turksat 42e. Having said that I have looked at hotbird 13.0 and 19.2 etc & still plenty of Channels around there.

Nova/jsc loads open on 13e for sd stb also 16e tring/diema/digitalb 19.2e d+ canal+ etc loads.

ignore this, just do your homework first and you will be fine. looks like sid did not do this and got shafted.

Is It sure that gift will last one year without package rejecting

Not all of the package opens, only certain ones.
Service+ been running now for well over a year.
