sky plus picture and sound freeze

I have a sky plus box that on certain channels is freezing the picture and sound. Most frustrating and probably simple to rectify but I really don't know what to do! Can anyone help please? Thank you

get the engineer back out if its a new install or you could sort it out yourself with a set of ladders and a cheap meter.
have you had any very strong winds recently?

We had the same thing on the Disney Channels, all other channels were Ok, I don't think it's a box problem. We had the same thing happen when Sly first released the Plus boxes and now the same when they first released the HD Plus boxes, we've actually upgraded to Sly HD now anyway but we still get it on certain channels just not as frequent and we have strong signal & quality on both feeds.

You could try forcing an update by unpluggin the box, holding down the backup button on the box, reconnect the power and keep the button held until all lights come on or you see the update message on your TV.
