    Faulty Sky LNB?

Hi, I have a sky minidish with a quad WNC lnb , its probably 4 or 5 years old. Last week my panasonic sky box started randomly freezing on some of the main channels for a few seconds. This is a very old Panasonic tu dsb31 so I thought the box is knackered. The signal and SQ is very high on the reading so I thought its the box.

When I connected the same box to the lnb input going to a sky hd box the box works fine. So my conclusion is it could be the cable or the lnb.

What my main question is, is it possible for one output of an Lnb to be faulty and the others to work on the same LNB? or is there something else wrong here?

    Thanks for your input

i had the same problem a while ago, cables not tight enough on box and lnb and my box was a pace, also got my sky box updated and so far so good.signal can vary on lnb if one is weaker.
