I've got a Wave Frontier toroidal 55cm dish, 16 way diseqc switch and 8 LNB's, pointing at 28e, 23e, 19e, 13e, 9e, 4e, 1w and 5w. Does the job fine for me on the east coast. Really bad wether does make the picture flekey on the weaker signals, but so far so good. The LNB at 28e is a quad output one, so the rest of the family can watch sly at the same time on the box in the lounge.

Other than initial alignment I've not really had any problems. It really is all down to the prep work of getting the stuff together, mounting it and making sure it's fully aligned.

I was thinking about getting a T90 myself before I bought my motorised 1m dish.
It has its advantages ,no switching time between sat positions and no need to realign after storms but all the extra wiring put me off ,plus they weigh an absolute tonne.
Best place to buy them from is Germany ,very reasonable
          www.hm-sat-shop.de is a good site

The site Fano has them at a very reasonable price, although I haven't looked at what the shipping costs are. I've just checked the place I bought mine from and it's ?99 + VAT for the 90cm one from

DVB Direct - Toroidal 90cm Dish

If I remember correcly delivery was free - don't quote me on that. Bear in mind that you only get 5 LNB holders with it, so if you want more then you'll have to buy them, On average the LNB holders can be found for around ?5 each.

Almost forgot to mention, it's a bit of a 'squash' to get some of teh LNB's placed correctly, so I have a mix of normal and bullet LNB's, mostly between 9e and 5w. However I do find that the signal is much better on the normal sized LNB's, as opposed to the bullet type.

I read somehwre in the forum you are allowed to have a dish up to 1M in size. I really don't understand what neighbours got to do with me having 50 cm or 2M dish?

if you are not in a conservation area or own a listed building you can have 2 dishes on the front of your house without planning consent, one can be upto 1mt and the other no more than 60cm. as this is all you are allowed in theory you should then remove your terrestrial aerial but unless anyone complains I would not bother.

your allowed up to 1m so would it not be better to get the bigger dish to get the best gain and signal possible now in case you have to upgrade it at a later date
