got sly installed yesterday and as I already had an existing dish installed, they replaced it with a new dish so got a spare sly dish .. is it possible to point this dish say to Thor 1W.

I'm no expert but guessing you've got the 43cm mini dish i think you might struggle to get 1w.however i think it's possible to get either 13E or 19E from a sly dish.I can pick up both on my small caravan dish no problem.I'm reckon it might even be possible to get a dual LNB kit fitted to the dish and pick both these up but someone more knowledgable will probably confirm this.
Just to add most of whats available via keys on 1W is in the process of going fully encrypted if it hasn't already gone that way.So not much viewing anyway.Last edited by mark36; 21 April, 2010, 11:31. -
