forget it m8, it was broadcasting fta on w2a@10 east in c-band but has left now and it might turn up again on another satellite but in your location you would probably need a 2-2.5meter dish and c-band lnb which are very expensive. what programming are you after?DM800HDSE SIM 2.10. Its all a bit unclear as the SPL are about as transparent as black out curtains.
From what I gather BT used to provide OBU for the 3.00pm SPL games and their contract ended at the tail end of last season. The "rumour" then was that Setanta (and perhaps others) had sourced other service providers to provide coverage. That said, the Rangers game was pulled from TV late on Friday although no one seems certain whether this is due to Setanta, SPL or Clubs themselves.
Rangers have certainly blocked games in the past, albeit not many, but Celtic have appeared to be more relaxed about it. Other rumours are that the clubs have taken a dip in season tickets and are trying to get bums on seats but they must both be in the top 4 in the UK behind Man Utd and Arsenal (its the TV where there is no comparison - the bottom EPL club gets 3 times more than all clubs in the SPL!!).
For the Celtic game on the 11th again Sport Hun, Ro, CZ are again indicating that the games is not on. They still show the feeds for all Sky/ESPN games though as do KTV/Saudi Sport on 26e. This would appear to indicate that unless Setanta Africa show it no one will.
Time will tell but for those that cant get to the games it aint looking good this year for 3.00pm games.Last edited by bugaloo41; 2 September, 2010, 17:15.Comment

both celtic and rangers have not sold enough season books to sell the rights on to broadcasters,if jsc sports, sport hun/rom were showing a game this season you would be hard pushed to see 25-30,000 at the games, celtic need at least 38,000 bums in seats to sell rights and rangers need 35,000 last season both had sold this amount in season books and many broadcasters were showing the games as the quota had been met before a ball was kicked.Comment

Totes where did you get this one from as it aint correct?
DigiTV and JSC were showing the games for the last couple of years. 25-30,000 at Rangers and Celtic games when was the last time that happened other than the odd cup game which isnt included in the season book? Pubs have been showing the games in Glasgow for a few years now.
Both clubs FACT have sold more season books than 30,000 and both clubs will have more than 38,000 at any league game even on a bad day.
Rangers pre-season had sold 36,000 season ticket books - sure it will be higher now. Pretty certain with the bigger capacity Celtic will have sold at least this.
NARSA were promised pre-season that Setanta would show all games to the USA/Canada. They haven`t delivered so they are looking at taking a live feed up direct from the club. Looks like this aint going to happen until December/January though.
Its the SPL who have the rights to the TV not the clubs. If Rangers and Celtic had their own rights pretty certain they would have a far better deal then the pittance they have just now.Comment

i got this info from celtic park and its looking like crowds for both firms will take a massive hit this season thats why they are pulling the plug on games and just live streaming the matches from the clubs websites, the last time celtic had a crowd of 25-30,000 at home was most of last season, sorry to say i was one of them......faithful through and through.
