    Sky White card

    Hi can anyone inform me if I buy a sky box with the new white card in which has been withdrawn from use and subscriptions stopped will the white card still obtain freesat channels or will it need activating and payment of ?25.

      you do with Sky.. it costs ?20.. You can then access Five and FiveUSA etc

      It should be ok if the sub was downgraded to FTA.. if completely cancelled i dont think it'll work

        Think thats freeview your talking about its the c5 and extras etc that I am inquiring about

          @papag... yep on free view these channels are available, how ever on freesat they are not and you will need a sky freeview card to open them.

          there is a difference between freesat and sky freeview, you get afew more channels with the sky freeview card than what you get on freesat.

            you dont need a card to get "five"on a sky box.press services>(4)system setup>(4)add channels then put 10.773 H 22000,5/6 in the panel and enable the channels you want(yellow button)
            repeat for the regional bbc 1 and itv progs from the following frequencies(all 22000 sym and 5/6 fec)10.788 V,10.803 H,10.818 V,10.832 H,10.891 H,10.758 V,10.714 H.
            to view press services>(7) other channels highlight channel wanted and press select.you cant get the five spin offs this way.
