The higher the frequency, the smaller the dish can be to capture or receive the signals coming from the satellite
c band are lower frequency

C Band 5.925 to 6.425 3.700 to 4.200
Extended C Band 6.725 to 7.025 4.500 to 4.800
Ku Band 14.000 to 14.500 10.950 to 11.700

you need a big dish to get c band and there will not be a lot of tv for you it realy for the enphusieast c band dose peform better in bad weather
