remote problem sky+

hi hope someone can help have been given a sky+box n remote plug the box working fine except the remote doesn't work with the box its a sky+remote batteries new hope someone can help thanks

try another remote to rule out the box and if it works then the remote is faulty.

Are you sure the remote isnt in tv mode. Press the sky button on the remote first. Also does the red led light up when you press a button?

If not then its faulty.

yes i tried a diff.remote and yes the red light come on both of them

If both remotes dont work the infra red receiver on the box is probably faulty.

think there is a code you put in try sky website or goggle it
