Want to watch Spanish National terestrial channels

Learning Spanish (very slow process!) Have a few regional Spanish channels with my FTA receiver. Now since Spain has gone full DTT, some isolated mountainy areas are being provide with receivers which decode the broadcasters feeds (very restricted access to these, ) I was wondering if somebody here could point me towards a solution for me in Ireland to watch the main 6 terrestrial channels.
I think it's all about BISS and 17 muxes.
    Thanks

Hi, I have a Topfield 4000Fe. I know this is only a simple receiver and I will have to get something stronger, spend some money, but that's OK up to a point, say ?150 or so. I intend giving the Topfield to a German friend. No problem there as all all the German national channels are FTA.
My problem is this whole business of encryption CAMS/CAS, never done any of it, and would if I could buy a receiver in Spain, but like I say they are not freely available.
here's a the link I found In Spanish
      Thanks

hi, what you are trying to do if extremely difficult if not impossible. there are 6 dvb-s2 txps on hispasat in b.i.s.s. which i think carry these channels but you would need a special receiver, not to mention the key for the encryption, i seem to remember that there is a m-vision receiver that is capable of receiving these uhf/vhf from satellite transmissions but i cant remember which model it was. there are also a few more channels from tve but these are encrypted in powervu which is secure. take a look at lyngsat.com/hispasat to see which channels are available.
i think your best bet would be c/s but this is pretty difficult to set up and we cant freely talk about it as its against the rules here on d.k., regards mdt

Just checked Hispasat, 1D. The ones I want to watch are on 12547 V tp 65 and are in PowerVu.
          Q. Is it possible that even if I could get a receiver in Spain, that unless that box was registered, it would be just a "dead box" I got this from some of my reading, but again from Spanish, so not sure if it's correct.

your right m8, powervu is a non starter. i have a s.a. power vu receiver myself and its useless apart from fta without the ota id.

Would need to be confined to the house for 6 months to figure that out!

Will be Spain again end of the month, and in an area that has DTT "blind-spots". Have a list of "official installers" for the area so will try to learn more.
It's amazingly restrictive, maybe because of the "live football" that some of them carry.

Even read somewhere that it's limited to one receiver per household.
