    Probably a real dopey Q..

As some of you good lads know, the dope is probably me,but Im still learning

Anyway..when I do a blind scan of a sat is there any reason why Im only picking up Vertical tps ? or is this normal or have I done something when I was trying to get technical?
    Thanks if anyone can help.

yeah thanks mdt, cheers pal but I have that,I understand you can refine the scan, searching both........
another thing thats started happening too is that when I manually enter tps Ive found looking round the net,it says invalid frequency when I put them in...yet I see on more than 1 forum identical tps....doing me head, everything was fine a fortnight ago

              hello mate,
you havent topped your box memory out have you,you may have to delete some unused TPs/channels before you can put any thing else in.(I"d delete all the dead TPs anyway)

I do it manually but you can go into the factory re-set menu and delete all radio channels and you can go into the edit channels menu then delete sub menu then using the red/green/yellow/blue buttons and follow the prompts as to what you want to delete.
to get rid of dead Transponders go to the installation menu>PID search highlight transponders ."ok" then scroll through them and delete any that are not active(red).by pressing the yellow button.
