sky access in france

hi lads i subscibe to sky in the uk and have a property in france ,ive tryed my sky card from the uk in the box in france although it gives me more channels it will no give me the premium channels which ive subscribed to in the uk .I did ask a sky techniction who said it is possible but he couldnt give me the information due to there rules ,any chance someone could enlighten me please many thanks inadvance

hi guys im going to france on thursday till monday so ill get the model number then and repost once i have it ,it it just a case of putting a key in or something then many thanks again

yor sky card can only be paired to 1 box at a time hence no premium channels when its in unpaired box i suppose you could ring sly from france and pair it to your other box then pair it back when you come home. easier way tho would be get boxkey and use dreambox in france or google cs and leave card at home.

I think Sky have Stopped cross border viewing of thier sevice and will terminate your contract with immediate effect once viewing of the SKY service abroad has been established.

Sky Have dedicated Teams working on the contenent especially in Spain tasked with detection, even thought the EU have decided other wise on cross border viewing of satellite providers.

If you are residing between a UK location and abroad then you will have little trouble as you billing address will still be in the UK but be carefull Do not use Interactive features or ring Customer services (You call will be logged) if you live in a populated Holiday area Sky detection teams are on the look out for satellite dishes pointing towards Astra 28e all over the place.

If you have a residence in the UK consider Sharing your Sky Service Between Dreamboxs, this is the best way to enjoy your subscription between friends or using it at another Residance abroad.

Or you could use a digi dialer and order box office films from abroad and indeed use the interactive services as well...this gadget makes the box appear to be calling from the uk,but not cheap...
