Sky signal strength

Hello,

Having upgraded my Tv to a 50" Plasma, Ive started to notice a problem with my sky reception.

It keeps going slightly fuzzy/hazy from time to time.

Ive checked the signal strength and its sitting about a quarter of the way up.

Are there any tips for improving this?

Has it always been like this?

Could be a tree in the line of sight or sometimes wind and rain can affect it if it's slightly out of alignment.

I'd give Sky a call and get them to come out and check the alignment of the dish.

Also reconnect the coax cable at the back of the recevier, just in case it's come out slightly.

From what I read, the signal strength is not the most important, it's the signal quality bar that you look at. In any case, both should be between half way and 3/4 full.
