DVI TO HDMI CABLE info

lokking at a dreambox 800hd but wasnt sure if the DVI TO HDMI CABLE carries sound or not, shame its not got a hmdi slot

looks like i may splash out on the dreambox 800hd then
just need to read up on all the bootloades stuff and i hope it can be flashed with out a null cable (hate them) ie via usb stick

I just started to use this dreambox when suddenly the picture went black and my tv just got jumpy like the text on my tv is actually moving up and down,
i am pretty sure that this is because of the dvi to hdmi cable but i just need some confirmation and also if the cable is broken do you know where to buy the same one.

Any help would be appreciated

I got a quad shielded belkin cable great upgrade has made some sd channels look better like al jazz.

Is this cable only for video or does it also receive audio through it. I checked the page but could not find anything about audio.

Depends what you're using it on..

The equipment has to be capable..

If it's for a dreambox / satellite receiver it will be fine

DVI give u same res as hdmi in video
and for sound yes the new VGA in pc and dreams bring sound also

note : check ur DVI to HDMI connecter pin to know its its can bring sound
