Had a quick look at this forum and a lot of you guys are talking real technical stuff. My problem might seem trivial !!
Anyway, please bear in mind I have absolutely no experience of satellite tv, other than using turning it on and watching it.
So this is the thing, a lot of my channels are starting to freeze momentarily then catch up with itself, resulting in the program being really jerky and unwatchable. As far as I can tell, the sound does not freeze when the picture does, it seems to be quite smooth. I've turned the box off, took out the sky card and put it back, but that didn't do anything. I did notice that my sky card looked slightly scorched on the other side of the chip. Is that normal?? It's about 18 months old, if thats helpful. No trouble previously.
Hope someone out there can help, as I really don't want to phone sky judging from what i've read.
