    Monoblock lnb with Sky

    Hello,

I recently bought a Technomate 5200 + 1m dish + monoblock dual lnb. Connected it up to my Sky + box & the Technomate.

Get good signal strength + quality on both, however the Sky box comes up with "no signal" after a while - varies between a few minutes to an hour. After unplugging & resetting it works for a while..Have disconnected the Technomate but still get the same problems.

Suspect it's the switch in the monoblock lnb that's confusing the Sky box. Is there any way around this to use the monoblock with both the Sky & the Technomate ?

    Thanks in advance.

No theres no way around it unfortunately. But why not buy a sky dish and use that. Im sure its less hassle or buy a lnb bracket and put two double lnbs on it and use a single feed from the lnb which is facing sky.

Thanks, I suspected that. I wanted to keep the original dish + use a second one for the Technomate but wasn't sure if the council would pester me for planning permission..if anyone complained.

      Already ordered an lnb bracket.

      Thanks for your help.
