hi all

i bought a force d-master 1122s plus motorised unit off the car booty a few months ago, i wired it up to my old sky dish to see if i could pick anything up, all it will do is flash the menu screen (or any screen) on and off every second, althougth i don`t subscribe to sky anymore (i`m on cable) am i right i thinking i should still pick up fta channels? the box has v44 firmware, it`s also saying " no signal" or have i bought a duff box.

hi m8, firstly make sure you have selected a fixed dish in the menu and selected astra [email protected] east from the sat list. you could also try a factory reset aswell. check that there isnt a short on the lnb cable f-connector as this can display the symptoms you have described. let us know how you get on. regards mdt

i managed to find my way to the position page found astra [email protected] i highlighted that sat, done a scan the box found numerous channels (so the box works) alot of the channels where encrypted, is may seem a silly question but is that what the card slots are for? if so what cards do i need and would you know where i can pick them up
