Motorised Dish Suggestions

hi Guys,
I am planning to purchase a motorised dish, and was wondering if somene could recommend one and the receiver to go with. I am after the Documentary Channels, nat geo, sports and indian channels but not sure what dish/receiver to get. I have done some research on technomate products but do not know what channels are on offer with their devices.

Hi jonty, the general best size for a motorised dish is 1m, with the technomate you can load the patches for your particular model (see the Technomate forum) im not sure about indian channels but you can look at `Lyngsat.com for all the various satellites and whats available. Maybe if you post this in the technomate forum you will have better luck and advice as I am on fixed dishes.

By the sounds of it your after a Dreambox as thats the only way your going to get what your after.

Grab a Moteck SG2100a DiSEqC Motor

1 meter dish

T& K wall brackets.

Dreambox 500 for 50 squid to get you started you can always upgrade after as the Dreambox is a pain to get used to for some ppl

Would a Starview 5 work with this? I have a starview 5 and Eurovox Max. If not then I will have to purchase a dreambox.

afaik there both cable boxes but I stand to be corrected. Cable boxes will not work on Satellite different frequencies used.
