    Motor problems

    Hi,

    Not sure what the problem is, sometimes when i choose to go to another sat i get the pop saying its moving but nothing happens i stay on the sat and lose the picture.

    Reset my dark motor and did a factory reset, but still same thing happens.

    any help would be good

      Have you checked your motor is actually moving ? If it is then it could be that your dish is slightly off the arc and not picking the satellite up properley.

              hi,

              TM600 tm lnb 1.1m dish alsat superior dark motor..

              If i factory reset, i can get thor at 86snr and 78 agc then 28e at almost the same then 30w at again the same. When i then move to sat's in the middle it does this what i noticed this morning is when i send the move to sat command the motor jerks twice then stops.

              I was given the dish everything else is new, daft question what weight can this motor move?

                  Could this be the fw update that as screwed up, I am now on UR release 2.11 dated 09/05/10.

                  Does anybody have the original FW.

                      Found a problem, if i try to goto 42e my motor returns to 1w...so randomly well more often it returns to 1w whenever i swap sat's

                          here is a copy of the tm600 original image hope it helps.I am also running ur image dated 09/05/10 on my tm500 but have no motor control probs with it.

                              Hi, finally got time to look at this, found the problem.

                              I downloaded a motorised sat and channel list..which coruptred the motor table. So a factory reset and then loaded the latest FW and all is well.

                              Question, if i want to use somebody elses list how do i modify it to suit my location and settings?
