i am thinking of buying a dreambox and 1m motorised dish what software is the best software and are they easy enough to set up and is the cable you use a rs 232 null and modem cable.WHERE would be the best site to purchase these products your help would be appreciated.

Such a vague question with so many answers possible. Most dreamboxs are ok with a motorised dish, the clone 500s did have some issues generally with the power supply and the motors. Never herd of any original or clone 800hd having issues. You could choose from lots of images to put onto your box and everyones choices are different. Clones box's can be restricted to what images can be loaded it all depends on the bootloader that the clone box's come with, orginals have no such issues. New dreambox's can be flashed over lan which makes it quicker. The serial option is still available and uses a null modem cable. Are the box's easy to use? yes if you have seen and used one before if not they take a little getting used to and effort.
