    motor dodgy ?

Hi men, anyone had a motor go kaput on them ?

Mines not a yr old yet,say about 7-8 months.

When its arcing to a new position it doesnt glide it kind of stutters and jerks..sometimes it doesnt make it to the new position and I have to go into the motor menu and drive it there again ?
Looks like its on the way out ?

Is there anything I can do ? or is it a new one needed ?

That is normally insufficient power from the power supply of stb.
As the TM5400 has sufficient power I would try using Diseqc instead of usals and see if that helps.

      Dodgy motor ?

Could be a bad connection anywhere between your STB and the motor or maybe water ingress to the cable.

try moving it with the manual buttons on the motor. if it moves ok you then know the problem isnt the motor.
