Second BBC HD Channel to launch this Autumn

I have just read that bbc are set to get a second BBC HD channel. The second channel will be called BBC One HD offering a simulcast of BBC One and it will broadcast from Atumn.
The channel will be simulcast in HD from the autumn on Freesat, Freeview, Sky and Virgin Media.

Hi sob. Just wondering if the new HD channel will make two as BBC HD was originally launched as a HD preview channel. Maybe they will cease the original one now.

BBC HD will continue to broadcast alongside the BBC One HD simulcast service, and will increase its broadcast hours from 9 to 12hours a day.

Better still, remove the licence fee, and make it a pay per view.
