you can get yourself a 1m motorised dish pack for around ?120 from ebay ect. now a receiver is down to what you want, if you fancy a box for tinkering with excellent possabilities then a linux box is what you want, eg. tm600/800hd or dmm 600/800hd. if you are after a plug and play system then you need to look at these. spiderbox 5000sd/9000hd or protek 9600/9700hd, these systems connect to a free off-site s***** through your bb connection and will give you plenty of channels of sport/movie/gen ent/kids and xxx. take your time and do your research and you should be ok m8. regards mdt

take no notice of the neighbours m8 as you are allowed 2 satellite dishes on your house and 1 is allowed to be up to 1 meter without planning apps. if you want to stick to your 45cm mini-dish on 28,2 east then you get get all the fta channels but to get the others you will have to use google as we cant discuss these methods on d.k. regards mdt

Each council have different regulations about dish sizes.

Read the Rules here; they apply to Everyone.

            Hi M8,

Saw your reply, I'm new and fancy one of these boxes, does it need a twin LNB for future proofing?

            Cheers

single will do, then depending how many boxes you want run off it, get one with enough outputs eg quad for 4 boxes
