im thinking of buying one just for bbc n itv hd channels looks alright for ?79.99 with a dish n box and all bits i think it a bang on price for a hd reciever but has anyone tried one out yet ?

cant see trying it out will help. most freesat receivers do exactly what they say on the tin. the only difference tend to be the menu / user interface.

its not a freesat receiver, its a sd/hd free-to-air satellite receiver and so it wont do the mheg5 red button stuff and the 7 day epg but having said that for the price it seems to be a decent kit for say a bedroom ect or for those just wanting bbc/itv fta stuff. seems a good deal to me. regards mdt
