question about Technomate motor

ok guys i brought i 1meter dish 2nd hand im not sure if its steel or aluminum.
so i wanna get a Technomate motor and get my dish up. but im not sure wats best for me is it a tm 2300 or the tm 2600?

dont want to get a motor then find out i would of been better with the other 1 so if people have experence in this and can write wat they think that would be really helpfull thanks.

I"ve got an old tm motor and the newer tm2600 and they both drive 1mt steel dishes no problem.either of the motors you have named will be fine its just that the tm2600 has all metal main drive instead of part nylon and they say its stronger but my old motor with nylon drive is still just as accurate as when I bought it over 4yrs ago and its used every day.

Ive got a TM 2300 and 1m dish in a windy part of Scotland and no problems ~ great motor !

i have the 2600 and it works great with a 1 m steel dish put it up 12 months ago had no problems with it

I'd get the 2600 and it's metal gears.

You can get them on eBay for around ?40 delivered.

Even though i have got a 2300 and it works perfectly well....I shall get a 2600 when it needs replacing....just because its supposed to be a better motor.....My 2300 has been trouble free for just over 2 years
