Which HD receiver to get

New to the site and I'm interested in the Protek 9700 (been rec to me) for HD content.

Wondered if anybody could rec a system for me. Looking for all HD content, Footy plus some Russian channels for the Misses.

Yes its a sat receiver. Think Spandu has perhaps got his sat and cable mixed up

yes, nice machine.
only laptop HDD and not auto-tuning feature is shadow on it.
