I have decided to pull the old dreambox 7000 out of the loft, put the new egnima and dl ccam 214 and NewCS. When I have tried to put my official sly card in it nothing descrambles.

I have looked in the Var/ETC for the cfg file but see nothing
/var/bin/CCcam_2.1.4 is this it? Because when i open this all i get is. ELF showing.

I have read thread after thread and there i cannot understande WTF is going on. even thought this is my first post I'm here for the long hall and seeming though i have some spare time on my hands of late i thought i'd refresh my knowledge but suprisingly things have moved on in the last couple of years

Anyone got time to point us where i'm going wrong?

have you the box key from the card?

when you say you open it .....dont rite click the file and edit it , once you ahve edited it click save and exit what your looking for is cccam .cfg file if youve downloaded cccam form the server then it will be there you should have cccam full and cccam bin files downloaded try flashing PLI image on it the green one

Sorry for not getting back as I had to leave for work and not be home till the 29th any burglars forget about i have 2 ~~~~ off dogs that will bite your balls

Beofre I left I had a look for my box key but the serial number was only 16 digits so the boxkey finder was not coming up with anything.
