        Geo UK has finalised a last-minute deal to broadcast the Asia Cup cricket tournament in UK/Europe.

        The tournament which runs from Tuesday 15th June to Friday 25th June in Sri Lanka’s central town of Dambulla, will see the hosts compete with India, Pakistan and Bangladesh in the 50-over day and night games.

        The tournament, which carries prize money of $200,000 Asian Cricket Council chief executive Syed Ashraful Haq told reporters in Colombo.The schedule will be as follows:
        15th June: Sri Lanka vs Pakistan
        16th June: India vs Bangladesh
        17th June: Reserve day
        18th June: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh
        19th June: Pakistan vs India - Highlight match!
        20th June: Reserve day
        21st June: Pakistan vs Bangladesh
        22nd June: India vs Sri Lanka
        23rd June: Reserve day
        24th June: Final
        The matches will commence at 10:00 each morning, ending at 17:00. A channel spokesman told News reporters that the match between India and Pakistan will be a highlight of the series. The spokesman also pointed out that the match will not compete with any of the ongoing World Cup football. He said, "The highlight will be Pakistan Vs India match on 19th June 2010, and the timings do not even clash with any of the football matches (Infact none of the main football fixture are scheduled on the day)."source: bizasia
