    Using splitters

Hi, I have a feed in my loft that I would like to split, using a splitter into another room. Will this weaken the signal? Can I get different channels if I have two receivers? and are the cheap Konig 5-2400MHz 2 way splitters any good. TIA
    Regards

Any join in coax weakens the signal. Much easier to get a dual output LNB and not have to worry. That would mean that each staellite receiver could watch a different channel with no problems, and signal quality wouldn't suffer.

Thanks For the reply. I have a quad LNB which I'll now use. I was looking to save trailing Coax all around the house again, but if I want the best signal I'll have to. Thanks again.
