motorized dish setup

what satellites can i expect to pick up with a 1m motorized dish setup with a fortec freesat box . i live in co antrim northern ireland . i seem to be able to only recieve east satellites at the min .

you should get signals from most sats from 42e to 30w
but if your only get signals from the east sats your dish
sounds like it's not on the correct arc, you need to go back
and start again from thor 1w and get that satellite with a good signal
but first get a spirit level and make sure the dish mount or pole is plum
vertical and horizontal
there are some sats and chns you will have problems with
like sats at 7w 23e and some chns on others sat like 16e 5e etc
but there are lots more sats most is just free to air chns unless you use a card or cam etc:

I am in Donegal and I currently receive 4.8E, 7E, 9E, 10E, 13E, 16E, 19.2E, 23.5E, 26E, 28.2E and 42E. I also receive 0.8W and 5W but cannot go any further because of the conservatory roof is in the way.

Fuc! the conservatory, get a JCB to fix that minor irritation, you will soon have 0.8w & 5w, If it was the neighbours conservatory I would advise you to wait untill he is away for two weeks holidays before fixing the situation.

its the rest he cant get because of the conservatory
