Menu then info then look beside version. The latest is 31/8.
If you look at it, the firmwares are all dated and with time in them. I presume its when the programmer was finished

        Thanks hooley!

I posted a question on another thread, but I'll try here too!

If the S9 is connected to main tv by hdmi, I presume the scart 1 & 2 can connect to DVD recorder & a video sender?

Also, does the RF output the same picture as hdmi/scart and at the same time? EDIT: DOH! JUST REALISED, NO RF OUT!!

I have a SLX link "magic eye" that I'd like to run up to the bedroom....

        cheers

PS - does anyone else enjoy the "planning the wiring" part of a new STB as much as I do - diagrams galore!!

Dunno about the scart questions, only one way to find out i suppose. I use this box in the bedroom. Its basically turn on at night and let wife watch Kardashians and all that sh1te, wait till she falls asleep and maybe watch Family guy. Oh yea, playhouse disney in the morning for a small lad.

            Sounds just like our house!

I've had a play around tonight, and scart outputs at same time as hdmi so looks like video sender is a go-go

I've had problems with lip sync (audio out of sync) particularly on HD channels. Using fixed dish at 28e and have a Panasonic V20 Plasma.

anyonoe else had problems with out of sync audio with this (Sky Box). or could suggest how to resolve the problem via firmware or settings?

To my knowledge i have the latest firmware that hooley posted.

is it only me who thinks all this is a bad idea.
loads of cheap hd lan sharing boxes flooding the market.
word has already got round our estate. "i know a guy who can get you sky hd dirt cheap".
uncle rupert is bound to act and then that's the end of our hobby.

it's always a bad idea... but if uncle rupert isn't making money then some chinaman or the bloke on the estate is... so it's swings and roundabouts.... the guys who do this for non-profiteering purposes, hobby etc. ...will always find new things to do or play with once the door is shut....
