you dont say what sats you are trying to receive but I"d swap that 60cm for an 80cm/1mt dish.as long as the trees are at least twice as far away as they are high they shouldnt be a problem.(and they would block the signal what ever time of day).snr should always be high its the quality that counts.

Buy yourself an Inline Amp 13-18 db with Slope function

You should be able to pick one up off ebay for a few quid....

It will boost your Snr % on your receiver

do these really work guys ,,

          never tried before.

i would imagine with a 60 cm dish at 28 e ..it should be booming in .

as you are in the south .

must be trees , or suspect tuner .maybe.

just meaning , if it amps the sat signal , surely it will also bring in noise ( interference aswell)

and at high frequencies ..it could make worse rather than better ..

            never used these before ..

Usually linear amplifiers only are good to compensate long cables..if the signal with the receiver near the antenna is almost the same where the receiver is..it wont do anything.

Like leez says, it also amplify noise..

Use Dishpoint to check if the trees is blocking the signal..if it?s not blocking, try with another receiver..if the signal is the same, move the receiver near the antenna (to check cable problems)..if you get almost the same signal, try to adjust the antenna..if you cant get better results, try to change the LNB..

It?s a lot of IF?s, but the problem should be one of those.

              Sorry for bad english
