moving from cable to sat

hi all looking for some advice lost my cable channels so have decided to try sat im in ireland can someone tell whats the best sat reciever to buy ive heard good and bad about spiderbox so i really need help to decide also should i buy a motorized disc and is there scope for adjustment on any recommended recievers!!! thanks for reading and any advice greatly appreciated
