Changing from sky box to sky hd box. Do i need a new card?

I have the standard sky box but picked up a sky hd box on the cheap. Is it as simple as just putting in my current sky card to that box or do i have to get a new card or tamper with the box?

hi,it should just be a case of ringing s*y up and asking them to pair your smartcard to your newly aquired s*y hd box. regards mdt
