Is This Maplins Wall Bracket Any Good

I had a go at putting up my dish today but the wall bracket I was using although sturdy was shite,
Took a run over to Maplins and saw this

45cm Cranked Bracket : Satellite Accessories : Maplin

its made by Metronic , it looks ok but it feels flimsy , as if If I were to tighten the dish up it would actually collapse the pole,

Maybe just me though as this is my first attempt at a satellite install, anybody
tried one or think it would be ok to use

buy one, if it falls off the wall, then the answer is no.

hi, i would always choose a t+k arrangement but have installed 1 meter motorised dishes and used similar L shaped brackets without any problems. are you using a fixed dish or motorised? as long as you can get the bracket 100% plumb for a motorised system and it is not holding to much weight then it will be fine. regards mdt

It seems ok but as mdt says T&K brackets are better and give you that litttle bit extra adjustment to get your pole 100% plumb, which is essential on a motorised dish. I think i paid around the same price for the T&K brackets as that cranked one. Might be just as well getting the T&K brackets if you can.

            THE TRUTH
            The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

I use one similar to this for motorised set up.
              Works a treat.

wall bracket for satellite dish on eBay (end time 30-Jul-10 16:55:56 BST)

              Wouldn't pay that much though.
