a/b switch with motor dish

Hi guys,I am hoping to install a motor dish soon and have a dm500 for my bedroom.I would also like to get a spiderbox for downstairs and have two receivers on the same motor.obviously the dish can only be parked at one location so
would an a/b switch be ok and if so can both boxes view the same channel at the same time or does only one box work at a time?

the easiest way is to cable up your main box as normal then run sat co-ax from the loop out through to the sat in of the 2nd box.then if both boxes are on the 2nd box can view channels on the same TP as the 1st box is on.and if you put the 1st box on standby you can have full motor control on the 2nd box.but if 1st box is off 2nd box wont work.hope this is clear.

thanks again for all your help dick b.(your a gent mate!)I think I will try the loopview....ideally I would have liked to get a wave frontier dish but went the motor route for now in order to get started.
