I dont know the j4 but any quad lnb on a motorised setup will be dragging a lot of cables about.you will only be able to control the motor from 1 box.can you let us know exactly what you want to do and your dish size etc;and what box you have?

im only a learner ,85 cm fraccaro dish 1.2 disqec motor ,with dm800 to control dish with couple of dm500 boxes in rooms about house , still to get motorised set up not picking up everything ,the j4s lmb is one i had on fixed dish 28.2,and think it may be my problem , i think i need a universal quad lmb but as i say not sure , you see i can pick up a sat on or around 1w with meter, but when i look on tv no signal shows on screen but 13 east and 28.2 will show signal on screen , so basicaly is the j4s lmb suited to pick up all sats i can find or do i go universal lmb and would you recommend any lmbs ..i didnt think quad would be an issue with cables as long as the werent catching anything or is this an issue with motorised dish, would you recommend another way to supply other rooms thanks in advance for your advice fellas

if you are picking up 13E & 28.2/5E you should pickup the rest It sounds like your dish/motor is not aligned correctly any universal lnb quad or otherwise will do the job.dont get me wrong as long as you dont mind all your boxes being on the same sat at the same time the set up will work.
