my dad has sky sports through 2 set top boxes in his house, i am subscribing to virgin also, can i use 1 of his smart cards at my house or would i have to transfer my box with 1 of his to watch sports at my address?

the cards are paired to its own box so card swapping is not possible

have you tryed taking one of he`s box+card to your house and trying it?

but this rooms for Sat's, if you move it to cable I'm sure you get get a yes or defiant no

the difinate answer is you will need to move one of his box's with its card as they are paired to the box it got the hit

This card and reciver have masterkey you mast know tis for paired anoder reciver

There was a menu that you changed the settings to recognised the card, but you had to know how to do properly, or it will be blocked. I have seen it done, but it was a few years ago.
