RG6 is all the same thickness. Have a look here m8 RG-6 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

ok thanks for m8 for pointing that out to me so is there any factors in the cable that can cause better or worst signal coz iv been looking at a few differnt sellers so one on fleabay doing it a pound a metre and a few companys i found on google products are doing it for as little as 30p per metre and 50p per metre.

i guess wat im asking is there better made up cables or they all the same really?
have a look below at the ones i was checking out and see wat any1 thinks pls?

i brought this off ebay but i just noticed that external diameter is 6.3mm does that mean i wont be able to use a standard 7mm f connector?
also i just noticed on my technomote motor instructions it tells me to use f connectors with a waterproff rubber sleeve on top or is that self a tape good enough?

standard F-plugs will be fine by the time the braid is folded over they will screw on correctly, self amalgamating tape carefully used is also best make sure you cover the thread coming out of the motor and carry it down the f-plug past any strands of braid sticking out.Tm motors are usually supplied with rubber boots and you can use these as well providing your taping is neat.

just to add some places sell f-plugs that are for shotgun cable as std plugs and they are not suitable for std co-ax.

rg6 is fine its all I"ve ever used and never had problems with it.Its double screened for satellite use the main difference between rg6 and the more expensive ones is the central core is copper coated steel and not solid copper.use the narrow self amalg tape just make sure you stretch it slightly as you wrap it round and give a good overlap.

                              Well i disagree.

Alex123 is correct, it's shit cable and not recommend for sat use...

Have a read of Bill Wrights cable comparison article HERE which outlines the differences between cables and why cheapo RG6 and the likes aren't recommended on sat installations.
