    Sticky back plastic.Brick design

Hi guys, ive recently had a 1 metre motorised dish fitted.

This has upset one or two of my good neighbours so thought about decorating it in sticky back plastic brick design.

My question is ive found a couple of designs but most seem to be in bright red brick, mine are darker so looker for a darker brick design and secondly will sticking this on the dish reduce its performance.

Not your average post i know,

    Thanks in advance

    Andy.

i had a dish spray painted few years back to disguise it as the wife was moaning that it looked stupid but i lost a lot of signal so had to get a new one.
But i can remember reading somewhere that painting your dish with radiator paint doesn't effect the dish signals but i cant comfirm this as i never did it i brought some trellish and some climbing roses to hide it from view but my dish was down bottom of my garden at the time.

My dish is light grey so stands out a bit.
Was thinkling of painting it then thought of camouflaging it with brick design sticky back plastic.

Put a bin bag over it !

Jokes aside, spray it the smae colour as your wall, no need for the brick design

If YOU really want to try and disguise it, then painting it really is the only option......But i would make it clear that its been installed with planning dept guidlines, and no planning permission is needed for a dish this size...I explained to my neighbours that i could put a much bigger dish up if i wanted, and then they would have to appeal against my planning application...Somehow they accepted my smaller dish a lot more then.....
