Maybe your dish has moved a small bit or channel gone HD,not alot of info to go on,from your post mate.

whole lots gone no signal whatsoever which is strange when donwstairs box is working fine

turn off power & check your coxal & all cables mate,then try box after.

Sky have been cutting some boxes off that dont have the new white FTV card but if you leave it disconected for a while it may come back.
