It really depends on a number if things. The size of the dish, the height of the dish of the ground and the individual installers price. It could range from anything from ?30 to ?100+.

Sounds like your dish has moved. Post details of where the dish is, how high, is it easily accessible, is it on the roof, is it on a multi story block of flats, is it shared ???? ~ I'm sure our DK Glasgow installers will advise you !

Hi m8 thx for posting
The house is a semi detached so not too high and it's not a shared dish
The dish is a sky octave mesh dish it's attached to the chimney with a metal brace i would call it (the chimey is square and made of tin)
and it's accessible though need ladders
its a fixed dish at 28.2e and its ok when not raining but the least bit of rain and the picure and sound start breaking up and the signal goes to heck.
Simple tweak of the dish should do it. Nothing major there. Only need to move millimeters really. I would if your confident enough go up and do it yourself with someone checking the signal on the box.
Dont pay a shop to come out and do it they will charge a fortune for a small job. Sure maybe someone on here from glasgow would help you. If not i would be happy to come do it long as you pay the petrol
I'd an identical problem with rain, bought a cheap satellite meter and after a few minutes managed to improve the signal quite a bit and no more problems with rain!
Best fiver I've ever spent, much happiness in my household and no more cursing and swearing from the wife when Emmerdale drops out!
Your problem could just be whats known as rain [dedragation] think that how its spelt. some people cut up the top of a clear plastic bottle and attach this to the lnb so that its protected from the rain without blocking the signal. Maybe someone could post a picture of this??
