I ordered a 1m gibertini dish 3 weeks this thursday from satonline.co.uk, also known as cardmania and still have not got it yet. I sent emails aswell as tryed to ring them with no answer. As i live in ireland i know it might take a bit longer but know its takin the piss. I have everything ready for my new motorized installation except the dish. I have seen talk on the net about these people and i think i have been screwed. It could take up to 4 months to get my money back from visa which was 92 euro. How are these people still trading, has anyone got anything from them lately.

most banks/credit card companies will refund quickly with the provision that the other side has 3mths to object (must be over ?100 though)

Bought my dish via him back in November. It came eventually but pester him mate because he was certainly trying to bull me with his excuses. The thing is the dish should be sent from hisat as i think they are the uk distributors for Gibertini. Dont give up mate.

I am ringing them all the time with no answer. I email them with no reply, what am i ment to do as i live in ireland. I have never had any contact with them.

Get onto Visa You should be protected for Internet Shopping for 30 Days (If not More could be 90) explaing the situation send on statment etc, you will get refunded.

I realy do not understand why you would by this type of Item from the UK if you are living in the ROI, especially from a lees than well know website, there are plenty of well know reputable Satellite Websites you could have bought from, if not from within Ireland, ofton one must order specialist equipment through Dealers especially when it come top end satellite equipment.

I got a reply from them and they were very sorry, they are down to one phone line, thats why there was no answer. The dish was dispatched and i should have it soon. The reason i bought from the uk is that the gibertini is nowhere to be found in ireland and for them to order it in for me it probably would cost me a bit more , because everything in this country is as rip-off and cardmania was cheaper than any other uk satshop. example of a ripoff in ireland in one satshop in ireland the technomate 5400 ci is 170 euro in another in the uk its 120 euro and both charge 15 euro. delivery.

I have posted here previously about this company under a thread called cardmania He never answers phones I rang solid for 2 weeks and that was two landlines and a mobile and I never got an answer but he answers emails very quickly to tell you a load of bull that your order is on its way when in fact he is stalling till he gets it in stock After getting told repeatly I would have it next day I emailed and told him to cancel it and I wanted my money back then the fun started again with him telling me the money had been refunded to my card and he would e mail me refund slip to prove it after emails back and fro and me threatening legal action I got my refund this morning 10 days after he said he had done it
I think if I as willing to wait I would have eventually got my order but his site said in stock and next day delivery
To be fair all the negative posts I have seen on the net about him no one has been bumped for their money they got it eventually It is the stalling tactics and porky pies he tells you along with he fact you cannot get him at the end of a phone
Communicate through email ask him to be straight with you if he has trouble sourcing your order

I am waiting 3 weeks for my dish and its cracking me up . I took down my last dish and motor as the motor is now broke, so i thought now is the time to upgrade dish aswell, If i have to wait much longer ill be asking for a refund.
