    quick question...belkin router

    For the life of me i cant get my port forwarding set up....
    On a belkin it virtual servers
    custom server....dm800

    server ip-add.....take it this is my router
    external port start....80
    external port end.....80
    protocol...TCP/UDP

    hit add.....
    Well i would have thought that would have been it
    set but when i check it it keeps saying port closed..

    anyone help ?

    whats a good tool to find out if its set up, tried a few already.

    why you need port 80 ? i think this port is for remote setup of your router

      Your server ip address will probably be the ip address of your box. Most people forward port 1200 rather than port 80 for their box.Try the site below for all portforwarding info about your router;
